Effective March 1, 2025, the HOA contracted with Republic Services for the collection of waste and recycling. The fees for Republic are paid by the HOA using the monies collected from annual assessments. Republic collects trash twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and recycling on Tuesdays. Large or bulk items will only be collected on Fridays. Large items may include furniture or appliances, but may not include propane.

Bins may not be placed on the curb before 6 p.m. on the evening before collection day and must be moved to a non-visible place the same day they are collected.  Republic will collect yard waste, but tree branches must be less than 4” in diameter, shorter than 4’ in length and bundled.

Each home is provided with two 95-gallon bins – one for recycling and one for general waste. If Republic bins are broken (e.g., a wheel is coming off or the lid is broken), homeowners may send a message to Republic on the website https://www.republicservices.com, or call Republic at 713-635-6666.  A new bin will either be brought to the resident or the bin will be repaired.
