TRASH AND RECYCLE COLLECTION
The HOA has contracted with Texas Pride Disposal for the collection of waste and recycling. The fees for Texas Pride are paid by the HOA using the monies collected from annual assessments. Texas Pride collects trash twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, and recycling on Fridays.
Each home is provided with two 95-gallon bins—one for recycling and the other for general waste. Additional bins can be purchased at your local hardware store or from Texas Pride.
If Texas Pride bins are broken (e.g., a wheel is coming off or the lid is broken), homeowners may:
A new bin will either be brought to them or their bin will be repaired.
On collection days, Texas Pride will retrieve bins placed near the garage or side-yard gate; however, if you place your bin on the curb, bins may not be placed outside before 6 p.m. on the day before collection day and must be removed (to a non-visible place) the same day they are collected.
Texas Pride will pick up from a homeowner no more than 2 large items, including furniture, a mattress or washers, each week. Texas Pride will also pick up yard waste, but tree branches must be less than 50 pounds, less than 6 centimeters in diameter and shorter than 4 feet in length.
